Waxman YH Curriculum for 2024-25

Our new curriculum:
Our Youth house team has developed a new approach for our teens that incorporates Rabbi Stecker and Rabbi Schweber’s text study with a dynamic curriculum implemented by our Teen Coordinator, Morel Tomer Ish Yemini. The curriculum incorporates elements from the “Moving Traditions” program which focuses on teen-centered topics from a Jewish perspective. An array of activities combined with the discussion topics creates a dynamic and engaging learning experience.

The curriculum, created by rabbis, social workers and educators, aims to help our students explore what it means to be a Jewish teen, to navigate expectations from friends and family, to find Jewish meaning in the ceremonies, to cope with social-emotional challenges and discover the joys associated with Jewish wisdom.
