Tuesday, May 3rd – Yom HaZikaron Commemoration
6:30 p.m. – “Falafel Schmooze” at Temple Israel in the Blue Room
6:00 p.m. – Kulanu Religious School welcomes you to the tent event, Standing with Israel. We hear the Yom Hazikaron sirens observing the moment of stillness in Israel, followed by the energetic ruach of our students & our homespun Israeli band.
7:00 p.m. – Yom HaZikaron Tekes (ceremony) in the Sanctuary. We welcome Alya Schor, a Great Neck resident serving in the IDF, to share her story.
7:45 p.m. – Festive Israeli Dancing
8:00 p.m. – Festive Evening prayer services
