Please join us on Sunday, May 5th at 7:00 p.m. in our Sanctuary (also on TIGN Zoom) when Temple Israel of Great Neck, Congregation L’Dor V’Dor and Temple Beth-El of Great Neck commemorate Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Holocaust survivor, Arnold Newfield, will tell the story of his family and his experiences during the Shoah.
The service begins each year with Holocaust survivors, as well as second and third generation children of survivors, entering the Sanctuary holding Shoah memorial candles, accompanied by members of their family and children from the Kulanu Religious School.
The Shireinu Choir of Long Island led by Musical Director Deborah Tartell will present several moving musical selections.
Children from Kulanu Religious School and our Waxman Youth House will sing at the service, led by Hazzan Brian Shamash. Learn more about participation for children. Youth House parents, please contact Morel Tomer ish Yemini at yh@tign.org.
