The Rudman Family Food Pantry at the Mid-Island Y JCC provides non-perishable food and household supplies in a caring, dignified manner to seniors, individuals and families struggling with food insecurity and poverty. You can help to alleviate the burden of purchasing items not covered by SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits by not only donating food but also kitchen, bathroom and personal care items. Your help is desperately needed and greatly appreciated!
Please donate any of the following items to help stock The Rudman Family Food Pantry: canned chicken, canned tuna, canned salmon, canned vegetables, rice, beans, granola bars, box of oatmeal, shelf stable milk, 100% fruit juice, olive oil, box of dry cereal, quinoa, canned pineapple chunks, coffee, tea, crackers, chicken noodle soup, sponges, dish soap, paper towels, wrapped toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, windex, wipes.
No glass, opened or expired food can be accepted for safety reasons
