Purim 5784 פּוּרִים begins on Saturday evening, March 23rd and ends at nightfall on Sunday, March 24th.

Purim Services and Celebrations at Temple Israel – Salute to Israel!
Saturday evening, March 23rd (Erev Purim):
5:30 p.m. – Shabbat Mincha Service
6:15 p.m. – Early Childhood Purim Program in the Multipurpose Room
7:00 p.m. – “Let’s Eat!” (light nosh) in the Crystal Ballroom
7:45 p.m. – Ma’ariv and Havdalah for all in Sanctuary – and Temple Israel Players preview of their spring performance of  Into the Woods
8:15 p.m. – Fun Megillah Reading, Singing and Costume Parade for all ages in the Sanctuary (Led by Rabbi Stecker and Hazzan Shamash)
8:15 p.m. – Full Megillah Reading in the Blue Room (Led by Rabbi Schweber)

Sunday Morning, March 24th (Purim Day):
9:00 a.m. – Shacharit, Torah and Full Megillah Reading in the Sanctuary
10:15 a.m. – *Kulanu Religious School Abridged Megillah Reading (Teens welcome to chant excerpts) in the Multipurpose Room (Please let us know if you or your child would like to accept or decline the honor so that we can reach out to other potential readers if needed)
11:30 a.m.12:15 p.m. – Purim Carnival in the Crystal Ballroom (Open to the community)

All are invited to join our Waxman Youth House teens for an amazing carnival! Open to children in the community accompanied by a parent and Kulanu religious school students.
Teen volunteers in 7th-12th grade are needed to make the carnival a success.  Please contact Morel Tomer Ish Yemini, Teen Engagement Coordinator, YH@tign.org.

*We are very excited about our preparation for Purim this year!  We are happy to invite you or your child to chant Megillah.
