On Saturday, October 19th during Shabbat Services, Nova Music Festival Survivor, Shir Zohar, recounted her horrendous experiences and survival story from October 7th for our congregation. She was a powerful and impactful speaker. She asked for donations to Or to Ori in memory of Ori Arad z’l.
In times of darkness, the light of true heroes shines brightest. The Or To Ori project, spearheaded by the non-profit organization Or To Ori, seeks to honor the life and heroic deeds of Ori Arad, a young man whose courage and selflessness saved lives during a tragic event. His legacy is a beacon of hope and strength, and through Or To Ori, we aim to keep that light alive by fostering actions of courage and kindness in the community.
Or to Ori is dedicated to supporting underprivileged children and preserving Ori Arad’s legacy of kindness, courage, and community. It is based in Israel.
